Several members of the INDAS staff have carried out academic work for many years at the Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”, and have worked with the European National Institute of Statistics; others have a strong academic background from Albanian and European universities.
They have specific skills in the use of Geographic Information System (GIS) and related geospatial tools, designing and conducting household surveys and population censuses, producing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and disseminating statistical data by following a multidisciplinary approach.
They have participated in several statistical projects in Italy, the Western Balkan countries, Central and South Asia and North and East Africa that were conducted through the support of international organizations such as the UN Agencies, EU Institutions and state cooperation offices such as the Swiss Cooperation Office.
INDAS members and collaborators have considerable experience in the production and analysis of spatially referenced quantitative and qualitative data, as well as the management of research concerning spatial geography, regional development, demographic analysis and social change, all of which make this entity capable of running a project under its sole responsibility from a technical and managerial point of view.
